I have designed hundreds of kitchens and bathrooms and I hope that the next one is yours!
Born into a family business long known for enhancing people’s homes and lifestyles, John’s heritage and DNA clearly programmed him for outstanding contributions in the kitchen, bath and remodeling industry … and he hasn’t disappointed! Having earned his CKD, CBD and CMKBD credentials from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) by the age of 27, John has over 28 years experience in designing award-winning custom kitchens, baths, home offices, wine cellars and home theaters.
Most importantly, those decades of listening, learning and honing his skills invariably translate into a richer, and more gratifying experience for every client of Mother Hubbard’s Custom Cabinetry, from modest concept to masterful completion.
Known for going the extra mile for every homeowner regardless of budget, John is also a Certified Aging in Place specialist (CAPS) by the National Association of Homebuilders. As such, there isn’t a phase of life or construction where John doesn’t exceed expectations, perhaps in part due to his formative education in architectural design. He brings an unusually keen eye and wealth of experience to every facet of every project, which only further strengthens his reputation as a seasoned expert in custom kitchens and baths.
Widely recognized at both the national and local levels for exceptional service to the industry, John’s track record so impressed his peers that he was elected to the Executive Committee of the NKBA, first serving as the 2011 national Treasurer, then in 2012 as national Vice President, and ultimately in 2014 as national President. Since then, he has continued to distinguish himself in an advisory capacity on both a local and national level.
With this kind of world-class experience, it’s no wonder Mother Hubbard’s Custom Cabinetry has so often won “Simply the Best” for kitchen and bath design in the Harrisburg region. As further testament to his talents, John has also won numerous national awards from the NKBA for residential kitchen design. Indeed, his work is considered so compelling as to be featured in several newspapers and magazines, including USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, Consumer Reports and Forbes to name but a few.
In the end, John’s resume may be formidable, but his professional ethic and personal demeanor are deeply reassuring throughout what is often a complex remodeling process … which is something every Mother Hubbard client comes to appreciate as John fine-tunes the enriched quality of life they seek every day.
